POTASH CORP PLAYLAND

Potash Corp Playland at Kinsmen Park is a rejuvenation of an historic park in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Working with a team from Space 2 Place, we  were asked to create an identity and environmental graphics that would speak to the new generations of users while communicating the historical and contemporary importances of the city and citizens of Saskatoon, as well as recognizing the park’s main donors. Our approach has been to adapt familiar potash-mining imagery into two- and three-dimensional graphics and spaces, including a rides garden, ferris wheel, carousel, and train station.
