VICTOR BUILDING

Upgrades to this 100 year old loft building in downtown Vancouver included creating a new name and environmental graphics which evoked the building's history. Our designer team worked with the developer to upgrade exterior paint and interior finishes including flooring, lighting, paint, bicycle storage, signage and feature walls in common areas.

Client: Private Investor Location: Vancouver, BC
Scope: Brand identity, interior and exterior signage, interior design and lighting

An entryway mural features the 1910 building facade showing that how it was once the BC Liquor Control Board warehouse. A feature wall clad in metal acts adjacent to the ancient freight elevator as a community bulletin board for renters. The colour palette and oversized graphics work to highlight the existing heritage features of the industrial building turned loft space. Working class materials and processes are used for suite, retail, and common area signage.
